Japanese Translator

A knitting friend of mine found this site where you can translate your English name into Japanese. It's cool, you should try it. I did!

Jeanette

This is what the name "Jeanette" looks like in Japanese:





It is pronounced "JENETTO". (Consonants are pronounced more or less the same way as in English. "E" sounds like e in met. "O" sounds like o in old.)

This is what the name "Scott" looks like in Japanese:


It is pronounced "SUKOTTO". (Consonants are pronounced more or less the same way as in English. "U" sounds like oo in hook, but with less rounding of the lips. "O" sounds like o in old.)
